Hotel Casa Bonay – For those of you asking me where I stayed in Barcelona … this is the Libertine Bar in the Hotel Casa Bonay – the only hotel in Barcelona with natural wines, a rock & roll coffee shop (called Satan’s, by Marcos Bartolomé from a family of coffee makers) and fab restaurant Elephant Crocodile Monkey by Chef Estanislao Carenzo (who has 4 successful restaurants in Madrid). Rooms are stunning with original mosaic tile floors, sun-drenched terraces with lounging chairs (& outdoor showers!) and located walking distance to everything without being in tourist crowds. The hotel uses local artists for everything right down to the blankets. Merci to Ines and team… and to @rhumrhino for leading me there.
